So what is the deal with Novara bikes? Novara is the store brand of bicycles and bicycle accessories sold by the REI. The brand has been around since it was introduced in 1983 and is headquartered in Kent, Washington. Novara bikes are designed in house but are manufactured by a company in Taiwan, Fairly Bicycle Manufacturing, then bicycles are then finished by REI.
